Feeling overwhelmed? How Student Coaching can help you transform overwhelm into flow.

mindhamok Season 1 Episode 12

Student Coaching is growing in popularity across the globe. The concept of a coach first turned up in sports, the coach is there to support athletes in all aspects of their game both physically and mentally, they are next to the athletes all the way, on the field, in the locker rooms, on the busses, tears, cheers… all of it.

It’s no surprise that coaching then found its way into business, many companies employ coaches for their employees and leadership teams, then we saw life coaching turn up, helping people achieve life goals or move through a particular challenge.

Now, we see more and more colleges and universities engage in student coaching practices with many having coaches working with their students in groups or individually, many students also choose to work with coaches directly to complement their journeys. Jeanine Cogan is a student coach based in Washington DC in the USA. In this mindhamok podcast, Jeanine talks with Phil Georgiou about the concept of coaching whilst touching on achievement and happiness as well as some small life hacks on how to bring some simple yet effective initiatives into our lives that will add to our own recipes of wellbeing.
