An adjustment period can feel like some sort of internal limbo, where we're teetering in-between the person we used to be and the person we're becoming.  Adjusting to newness, particularly a new culture, can conjure up all sorts of emotions. Perhaps you are feeling anxious or homesick or maybe you have some regret in where you have decided to study. Fear not! These feelings are not only normal but healthy.
