An adjustment period can feel like some sort of internal limbo, where we're teetering in-between the person we used to be and the person we're becoming. Adjusting to newness, particularly a new culture, can conjure up all sorts of emotions. Perhaps you are feeling anxious or homesick or maybe you have some regret in where you have decided to study.
